It just feels like this book is more concerned with getting people fired up than actually sticking to the facts. The puzzles present a real challenege that will definitely frustrate you along the way. The corners are all torn - not cool for people who like to collect. " These shapers of history that Galambos has in mind are the professional class of doctors, teachers, lawyers, military officers, politicians, business managers and academics that came to form the backbone of America's economy during the twentieth century, and the reader is introduced to a few of each in the course of this three-hundred page history of modern America, from the Gilded Age to Obama. There are only a meager 16 color pages in the middle of this reissue; they appear at the end of the original.
